    During the operation of power equipment, insulation will gradually deteriorate due to the long-term effects of electric fields, temperature, and mechanical vibrations, including overall deterioration and partial deterioration, forming defects. AC withstand voltage test is the most effective and direct method for evaluating the insulation strength of power equipment, and is an important part of preventive testing. In addition, due to the fact that the AC withstand voltage test voltage is generally higher than the operating voltage, the equipment has a large safety margin after passing the test. Therefore, AC withstand voltage test is an important means to ensure the safe operation of power equipment.


    The Wuhan UHV series variable frequency automatic resonance test device is mainly used for the variable frequency AC withstand voltage test of 10kV, 35kV, 110kV cross-linked rubber power cables, 66kV, 110kV, 220kV combination electrical appliances (GIS), and the power frequency AC withstand voltage test of hydraulic and thermal generators or power transformers. The basic principle is to use an adjustable (30-300Hz) series resonance test equipment to resonate with the capacitance of the test object to generate an AC test voltage. Due to the large capacitance of cables, traditional power frequency test transformers are bulky, bulky, and difficult to obtain on-site power sources with high currents. Therefore, series resonant AC withstand voltage test equipment is generally used. Its input power capacity can be significantly reduced, weight can be reduced, and it is easy to use and transport. In the initial stage, induction type series resonant devices (50Hz) were commonly used, but they have disadvantages such as poor automation and high noise. Therefore, nowadays, frequency conversion resonance is mostly used, which can achieve higher quality factor (Q value), and has advantages such as automatic tuning, multiple protections, noise reduction, flexible combination methods, and light weight per piece.

    3. It has multiple functions including fully automatic (automatic tuning, automatic boosting), fully manual (manual tuning, manual boosting), and semi-automatic (automatic tuning, manual boosting, and manual tuning, automatic boosting), and can be switched and used freely;


    4. Equipped with settings for test voltage, pressurization time, alarm current setting, alarm voltage setting, frequency range, and starting voltage;


    5. Equipped with discharge protection function, in the event of flashover of the test sample or sudden loss of resonance in the resonant circuit caused by other reasons, the variable frequency control power supply will immediately automatically and quickly cut off the output, and display the protection type and flashover voltage value;


    6. Measure and display relevant information such as output voltage, output frequency, pressurization time, and protection action type. The voltage will automatically drop to zero upon completion of the test;
